Website Design and Development Process

Let’s make it simple. Not everybody knows where to start at first in having their own website. If this is where you are, we will email you a questionnaire on where we could start working for your own website.  Questions may include the following:

Domain name.  This is your web address (example: www.yourwebsite.com). If you have this already, then we will move to the next step.  If you do not have this yet or don’t know where to start, we will start this for you.  A domain name needs to be registered.  PB e-studio offers this for only $10.00/year.  If you would like to register this yourself, please click HERE.

Web host.  Web host is a server where your website’s files such as pages you or we created and other information collected in your website are being stored.  This makes it possible for your website visitors to view the contents of your website.  This is the place, the house of your web address.  PeachBurst e-studio offers website hosting starting at only $5.50/month.  To view more details, please click HERE.

Purpose of your website.  How do you intend to use your website?  Is it a music or book author’s website, an ecommerce (with shopping cart) type, or a realty website?

Websites we do not accept:  pornography/adult websites, websites dealing with terrorism and violence, discriminatory, profane, and any other websites that are unacceptable by law and the general public due to crime and other moral issues.

Website elements.  Website elements include: (1)  graphics needed to design your website.  Graphics may include custom designed artworks and photos; (2)  website’s navigational terms.  Navigational terms are words used to link with corresponding pages where you want your web visitors to view.  For example, each website has a link called Home, which is linked to homepage or the front page of your website.  It also has a link commonly termed as About, which is link to the page that explains about your company profile or about you as the owner of such website.  Then another important navigational term is the Contact link, which your visitors can click to email you their inquiry messages.  (3)  The next group of links could be terms needed for the visitor to get directed to each of your product’s category.

There might be more you want from navigational terms you want for your website not mentioned above, which we will discuss as soon as you have decided to let us get your project started.

Website functionality/features.  Would you like your website to have a comment form after each of the content?  Would you like your website to have a testimonial page to appreciate your business from your clients?  Would you like your website to have a member’s registration database?  The answer all depends on you that we will discuss as soon as we get your project started.

Website creation is a teamwork.  You, as the owner of your website are the one who knows best what it is for.  We suggest the design if you have nothing in your mind for it, or you tell us what to do and we will do the best for you. As we start building your website, you will receive an email from us anytime to supply us the appropriate website elements and other things needed to finish it.  Usually, websites are finished within one month, depending on the complexity of the design and its functionality.  The quicker you supply to us any information and materials we need to finish your website, the shorter time it takes to finish it and put to live over the world wide web.
